Tegan and Sara Kick Off Not Tonight Tour of Ontario

Tour or event poster for Tegan and Sara Kick Off Not Tonight Tour of Ontario

Tegan and Sara are celebrating their 2002 album If It Was You by performing 13 shows around Canada. But the twins are not just playing the Great White North, they’re staying within the friendly province of Ontario.

The show consists of each of dozen songs from the album, slightly reimagined and performed acoustic, sprinkled with hits from seven of their other albums to send everyone off to down poutine in the streets with a smile.

Tegan and Sara kicked off the tour in Richmond Hill on March 20 and performed beautiful versions of “Walking With A Ghost,” “Back In Your Head,” and “Where Does The Good Go.”

Where Does the Good Grow is the name of their delightful three-episode so far video podcast. Hopefully many more are on the way.

Billy Strings performing live

Because he's as close to the master of the universe as a new guitar hero has gotten recently, Billy Strings dressed up as He-Man and welcomed Molly Tuttle and Sierra Hull for his annual Halloween concert (10/31) at Baltimore’s CFG Bank Arena.

Billed as Heartbeat of Eternia, the show featured new originals written for the festivities alongside covers of 4 Non Blondes, Diana Ross, Slayer, and Black Sabbath.

From Nirvana unplugging to Wu-Tang kicking the door in, this month has delivered an impressive pile of albums and plenty of ways to drown out Thanksgiving arguments. Here’s one for every day.
