Zara Larsson Blasts Trump for Turning “Midnight Sun” Into ICE Propaganda

It's hard to piss off Swedes, but Trump has done it. Zara Larsson is ticked off with President Donald Trump for using “Midnight Sun” and twisting it into a video celebrating immigration arrests. The clip paired her song with footage of ICE agents detaining undocumented immigrants, and intentionally turning a record about human connection into what Larsson considered dehumanizing political propaganda.

“I’m just sad. My heart is heavy seeing that, because I wish I could speak to whoever made that video,” Larsson told Variety. “I wish I could talk to you, and I wish I could help you remember that you and I, we aren’t that different. And we’re not that different from the people in the video, either. The biggest difference between us is that we were dealt a different hand in life.”

Metallica Announce 2027 M72 Tour w/Special Guests Limp Bizkit

Metal giants Metallica announced Wednesday that the massive stadium tour they launched four years ago will continue across North America in 2027.

The new leg kicks off in May at BC Place in Vancouver and wraps up at the end of June at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Between those dates, Metallica will make a joyful noise in 10 US football stadiums, including Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and the Alamodome in San Antonio.

Orville Peck Live Debuts 10 ‘Mule’ Tracks At The Castro

Orville Peck did something Saturday night (9/12) that musicians typically save until after everyone has had a few weeks to learn the songs: he moseyed into San Francisco’s Castro Theatre with his band and performed his forthcoming new album from beginning to end.

Céline Dion returned to the stage Saturday night (9/12) for her first full concert in more than six years, opening her Céline Dion Paris 2026–2027 residency before a sold-out crowd of 35,000 in France.

Foo Fighters Play Two Pop-Up Shows To Show Off New Drummer

Foo Fighters proved they are still learning to fly after being grounded for nearly a year, with two surprise pop-up shows in California that served as ways to introduce their new drummer, Ilan Rubin, and get the rust off. The band had not performed live since their last shows in 2024 before surprising fans in San Luis Obispo on Saturday (9/13) at the Fremont Theater and in Santa Ana on Monday (9/15) at the Observatory.

Rubin officially replaced Josh Freese in July in what now looks like a swap with Nine Inch Nails. Freese had joined Foos in 2023 following the tragic death of longtime drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022. Freese has now returned to Nine Inch Nails, while Rubin, who played with NIN from 2009 through 2022, is now keeping the beat for the Foos. Rubin had also spent 2006 to 2009 with Lostprophets and 2011 to 2018 with Angels & Airwaves.
