Lauren Sanderson grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and got her first taste of being in the public eye when she began posting motivational videos online and began speaking at schools. This led to her 2015 TEDx talk “For God’s Sake, Just Love Them,” which discussed coming out and the importance of parents accepting their children. She was just 19 at the time.
Lauren began releasing songs independently in 2016 and issued her first EP, Center of Expression. In 2017, Spaces became her breakthrough project, reaching #1 on the iTunes R&B albums chart. She supported it by going on an 18-city tour that she booked herself.
In 2018 the singer moved to LA after Epic signed her and released her six-song EP DONT PANIC! which featured the single, “Shut Em Up.”
Over the years she has collaborated with the likes of Australian artist G Flip on “GAY 4 ME” in 2022, along with Miki Ratsula (2020), Stand Atlantic (2021) and James Quick (2023).
