The Darkness received a permission to land into our hearts back in the summer of 2003, when they gifted us with the remarkable “I Believe In a Thing Called Love.”
20 years later Justin Hawkins and his brother Dan, along with Frankie Poullain and Rufus Tiger Taylor are touring the world to celebrate their entre into the scene.
Permission To Land was an oasis for rock fans who hadn’t heard or seen a 21st century band that sounded more like Aerosmith than Arcade Fire. Was rock dead? Was the guitar solo a thing of the past?
And most importantly: are they still making catsuits for skinny tattooed men?
