Disturbed Singer Tells Little Girl Why Concerts Are Special

Disturbed singer David Draiman took time out of a concert earlier this month to calm a young girl in the front row who was crying.

The band was playing the iThink Financial Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, FL, when Draiman noticed a girl with her parents singing along with every word of their songs, even their acoustic cover of Simon & Garfunkel “Sounds of Silence.”

When the tall, bald singer with imposing voice asked her if she would like to come on stage with him to sing, she began crying.

So Draiman, who is a father, went into dad mode to settle her down, first by apologizing, “I’m sorry baby, I didn’t mean to scare you.”
