Tik Tok star Alex Warren might not have had the best time at the Grammys last month, but his luck sure changed Thursday (3/26) when he won three of the eight nominated categories at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
The 25-year-old singer songwriter took home five trophies: Breakthrough Artist of the Year, Best New Artist (Pop), Favorite Debut Album (You’ll Be Alright, Kid), Song of the Year (“Ordinary”), and On the Verge Award.
He also got to do a theatrical live debut performance of “Fever Dream,” which he dropped last month as a single.
Warren first performed a little of “Ordinary,” while sitting at a piano whose stage turned into a subway platform.
It segued into “Fever Dream” whose scene lived up to the title where dancers and musicians moved about as in a Broadway musical.
