Conan Gray, the YouTube phenom turned legitimate pop star kicked off his second arena tour at the Target Center in Minneapolis where he treated the opening night fans on Thursday (2/19) to an unreleased live debut.
Supporting his latest album, Wishbone, and dressed like a snazzy sailor, the 27-year-old Sagittarius originally from Lemon Grove, California, doled out a variety of songs from his ever-growing catalogue, but the vast majority of material was culled from the latest offering.
Ten tracks of the 21 tunes in the set came off Wishbone, which dropped last August and debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart. It went to #1 on the Vinyl and Album Sales charts.
Despite that great start, if YouTube views are any measure, it feels like his fans, affectionately called Coneheads, aren’t as crazy for this album as they were for his previous efforts.
