Florence + the Machine kicked off the Everybody Scream Tour on Friday (2/6) at The SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with a variety of live debuts.
Florence Welch (vocals), Isabella Summers (keyboards, synths), Rob Ackroyd (guitar), Tom Monger (harp), and Aku Orraca-Tetteh (drums) delighted the crowd of 11,000 with brand new songs at the top of the show and even with the finale.
And speaking of fans, in the middle of the 22-song set they even sang “Happy Birthday” to a fortunate attendee.
Ever powerful, inspiring, and impossible to keep your eyes off of, Welch stalked the stage dramatically, and delivered every word with gusto, emphasising each phrase with her eyes and arms and flowing locks.
