Yungblud’s return to Australia kicked off Saturday (1/10) in Sydney, the first stop of the 2026 Idols World Tour on the continent and his first full Australian headline show since before the plague.
Originally scheduled for Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion whose capacity is a meager but respectable 5,500, organizers upgraded the gig to the much larger Qudos Bank Arena whose 20k capacity is where the likes of Dua Lipa, Kylie Minogue, and The Wiggles typically rock.
Welcome to the big leagues, down under, Yungblud.
Those 20,000 in attendance to check out the hottest new rock frontman in quite some time, knew things were gonna get good when they heard Sabbath’s “War Pigs” blast from the speakers as the lights dimmed to start the night.
