Rob Zombie used his appearance last Friday night (8/12) at the Full Throttle Saloon in Sturgis to do something a little more special than simply run through the hits for the gathering of bikers and motorheads.
In the middle of a 14-song set, Zombie unveiled the live debuts of three songs from his newest album, The Great Satan: “F.T.W. 84,” “Tarantula” and “Heathen Days.”
The Great Satan, which dropped in February through Nuclear Blast, is Zombie’s eighth solo studio album and his first since 2021’s The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy.
Zombie’s current crew is a bit of a throwback to his early solo band: Mike Riggs (guitar, backing vocals), Rob “Blasko” Nicholson (bass, backing vocals) and Ginger Fish (drums).
