Singer songwriter Taylor Acorn is the poster child of how nice it can sound to grow up on country and evolve into endearing pop punk.
Born in Minnesota, her family moved to Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, when she was 8, just after her father tragically died. That jolt inspired her to start keeping a journal, and then putting music to it.
A talented athlete as well, Taylor accepted a university track and field scholarship for her sprinting skills, but soon found herself receiving and accepting opportunities to become a full-time musician.
Her 2017 single, “Psycho” has racked up over 20 million streams on Spotify. Other singles led up to the 2023 EP Certified Depressant, which included “I Think I’m in Love” and “Coma” with Cassadee Pope.
