“This is the biggest show we ever played in New York, ever,” Lumineers frontman Wesley Schultz told the fans of Citi Field on Friday night (7/11).
And as they say, he ain’t lyin’. The week before their big show they played to 25k in Saratoga, NY. In 2022 they did two nights at Forest Hills, which has a capacity of 14k. In 2020 they sold out Barclays twice at about 20k a night.
To graduate to the 40k baseball stadium, home of the Mets, is truly amazin’.
