“I knew Post Malone was right when he said we had to start the tour at home,” Jelly Roll proclaimed at the opening night of the Big Ass Stadium Tour Tuesday (4/29) in Utah, Posty’s adopted home.
Jason Bradley DeFord aka Jelly Roll isn’t technically a co-headliner in the tour of the face tattoo titans, he’s a “very special guest.” His set happens right before Malone’s, and he gets nearly an hour.
Tuesday he played a tight 50-minute set of either 10 or 14 songs depending on your relationship with medleys.
The 40-year-old might seem like an overnight success, but in reality he’s been around: releasing his first hip-hop mixtape, The Plain Shmear Tape over 20 years ago in 2003.
