The Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, Sublime, The Linda Lindas and others performed to a sold out Kia Forum this weekend celebrating mostly ’90s rock which continues to dominate the once-influential station known as being The Rock of the ’80s.
It was the fourth time this year the Pumpkins played LA in 2024.
In September they stopped by the SiriusXM Garage for six songs, the next day the Chicagoans performed five tunes for Jimmy Kimmel, a few days before that they opened for Green Day on the Saviors Tour.
So in a way this was their first proper headlining show in 2024 in the nation’s second largest city, thus they played 15 songs in their 74th gig of the year.
