If there is one thing you can expect from a Phish show, it is the unexpected.
The legendary Burlington, Vermont jam band, featuring Trey Anastasio (guitar, vocals), Mike Gordon (bass, vocals), Page McConnell (keyboards, vocals), and Jon Fishman (drums, vocals), has done an excellent job of never playing the same set twice.
So when they realized that this summer residency of five concerts at Madison Square Garden would mark their 92nd through 96th shows at the historic venue, they came up with the perfect idea.
Instead of playing an entire set from 1992, for example, they would intentionally choose songs associated with that year.
