Over time, rock ‘n roll, creeped into the souls of the world and the doors of the cozy palace opened to one and all.
Pink Floyd made news in the summer of ’69 when they caused a bit of a row at the venue when they fired canons, loudly built furniture on stage, utilized a gong, and hired a man to roam the hall in a monkey suit. It culminated in a very effective pink smoke bomb.
