For the first time in 19 years, Jason Isbell played an entire concert with his old band, Drive-By Truckers.
The six-time Grammy winner reunited with Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley at Shoals Fest in Florence, Alabama, on Saturday (10/3) for a performance of the band's 2003 breakthrough LP Decoration Day, played in its entirety for the first time, plus three additional songs.
Isbell cut his teeth with the Truckers beginning in 2001, when he joined as a 22-year-old guitarist. He left six years later, well before his solo career became what it is today.
