Carly Rae Jepsen and 500 of her luckiest fans celebrated the 10th anniversary of Emotion Tuesday night (8/19), in West Hollywood in a joyous show that even included two live debuts.
The Canadian singer packed the legendary Troubadour on a school night with diehards who screamed every lyric, and turned the floor into an ecstatic dance pit.
The 39-year-old star wasted no time doling out the hits. “Run Away With Me” opened with its memorable sax riff, followed by “Emotion” and “I Really Like You,” all off the 2015 banger.
When it dropped in June 2015, Emotion debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at #8 in both Canada and Japan, where it went Gold.
