After more than a decade on hiatus, Creed, has reunited and their first gigs were on a cruise celebrating the summer of 1999.
What was special about the last few months of the previous century is the band released their second album, the 11x platinum Human Clay, in 9/99 which went #1 and produced the top ten singles “Higher” and “With Arms Wide Open.”
If you sold 28 million records in your career and the first one to get the party started dropped in ’99, you’d rock out on a boat; and then go on tour with your bros 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Switchfoot, Tonic to celebrate ’99 too.
How popular was Creed? From 2000-2009 they were the 9th best selling act for record/cd sales.
