Fans who had the choice to see Billy Strings last week in Nashville would have probably picked the more intimate show on Sunday night at the Ryman Auditorium over one of the two gigs at the 20,000 seat Bridgestone Arena.
One would think, especially in the south, fans would rather sit in what often feels like a church than the home of the Nashville Predators hockey team.
Those who chose to see Billy on Friday Night (2/20), received a memorable surprise when classic rock legend Edgar Winter joined the musicians at the beginning of the second set.
Winter blasted onto the scene in the early 1970s, first with White Trash and later with The Edgar Winter Group.
