Sporting a giant afro and backed by The Roots, Jay-Z got right to business Saturday night (5/30) in Philadelphia.
His business during a fresh new freestyle early in his set was to take aim at some of the biggest names in hip-hop: Drake, Nicki Minaj, and his former friend Ye.
And the consensus after it had spread around the Internet is that business was good.
It was a bit shocking hearing Jay-Z use his superpowers to give it to such a lineup of stars during the second song in the set, especially after he seemed to diss diss tracks just a few months ago in the April issue of GQ.
