Katy Perry, fresh from the stratosphere, began her Lifetimes Tour Wednesday (4/23), the first of a three-night stand in Mexico City.
Kicking off the show with the live debut of “ARTIFICIAL,” Perry delivered five acts and an encore to the fans at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico where she plays a “half-human, half-machine” video game character named KP143.
The high-tech colorful performance included metallic costumes, stunts, and light-saber-style action scenes.
About 30% of the show was pulled from the singer’s new album, 143, with a tad more focused on her Grammy-nominated smash Teenage Dream.
