Marquee Memories: Charlotte Sands

Charlotte Sands, who has been writing songs since she was nine, broke through in 2022 with the standalone single, “Dress,” which spent more than 15 weeks on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart and earned her the Breakthrough Artist award at the Heavy Music Awards in London.

Since then she has released two LP albums, can we start over? (2024) and Satellite (March 6, 2026), along with multiple EPs. The most recent singles are “HUSH,” “neck deep” and “Afterlife.”

Over the past four years she has performed over 40 shows a year including gigs where she headlined her own concerts or opened for the likes of My Chemical Romance or 5 Seconds of Summer.

Recently she dropped by the Setlist Studios where she sat down with Bree Wilde and talked about the infallible Harry Styles, learning how to rock from her family, and seeing Sheryl Crow at Bonnaroo.

From Nirvana unplugging to Wu-Tang kicking the door in, this month has delivered an impressive pile of albums and plenty of ways to drown out Thanksgiving arguments. Here’s one for every day.
