The Struts are straight out of Derby, England where they began to form after singer Luke Spiller met guitarist Adam Slack and moved to Bristol to write and record demos. When they joined forces with bassist Jed Elliott and drummer Gethin Davies in 2012, the group was formed.
Their 2014 debut album, Everybody Wants, was propelled by “Could Have Been Me,” which became their breakthrough in the US, peaking at #5 on the US Alternative Airplay chart.
They dropped their third LP, Strange Days, in October 2020 and boasted a parade of top notch guest appearances by Robbie Williams, Tom Morello, Phil Collen and Joe Elliott of Def Leppard, and Albert Hammond Jr. of The Strokes.
In 2023 they signed with Big Machine, released Pretty Vicious. In September Queen’s Brian May joined them for an updated version of “Could Have Been Me.”
