Eminem stanned his hometown by doing something he clearly is not crazy about anymore.
Marshall Mathers has made it clear in actions, not words, ironically, that he sorta hates doing full concerts.
Yet, on Thursday night (1/22) at the Little Caesars Arena, in his home of Detroit, eight miles from Eight Mile, Slim Shady performed nine songs for the good people of Rocket Mortgage who were having a private, company-wide event.
“It feels so good to be back,” B-Rabbit said at the beginning of “Square Dance,” the first tune he rocked for the surprised attendees, as the show was not advertised as having hip-hop’s best-selling artist present.
But there the 53-year-old recluse was, decked out in his hoodie and glasses, singing the somewhat dated 2002 bop with lines about ambushing the Bush administration and yelling out Saddam Hussein.
