Miley Performs First Full Concert In Four Years: 9 Live Debuts

Miley Cyrus ended a near four-year time out from proper full concerts last weekend (10/16, 10/18) when she rocked out during two sold out nights at the Hollywood Bowl.

Celebrating the release of her 10th studio album, Bass Persuades, the singer who now performs at MILEY, delivered via two identical 18-song sets that combined new material, unexpected covers and appearances by Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips as well as her fiancé, drummer Maxx Morando.

The last time she held a proper concert was on November 20, 2022 when she headlined the Corona Capital festival at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City.

Nirvana used the opportunity to sidestep the obvious hits and lean on David Bowie, Lead Belly and the Meat Puppets. Kurt Cobain’s final howl in “Where Did You Sleep Last Night” makes the usual unplugged-session chatter about intimacy seem rather inadequate.
