My Morning Jacket just wrapped up a seven night residency at San Francisco’s historic Fillmore that they transformed into a week of many colors.
Each show from 10/3 through 10/11 had a different color scheme with fans encouraged to dress accordingly. Meanwhile the Kentuckian’s setlists contained deep cuts, fan favorites, and covers accompanied with special guests.
MMJ’s Jim James (vocals, guitar), Carl Broemel (guitar), Tom Blankenship (bass), Bo Koster (keyboards) and Patrick Hallahan (drums) divided the unique run into three blocks, promising no repeated songs within each block — allowing repeats outside the blocks.
