Noah Kahan surprised an Austin audience at SXSW on Monday (3/16) with a stripped-down acoustic set of eight tunes.
In town to bring attention to his Netflix documentary, Noah Kahan: Out of Body which starts streaming next month, he was also there to promote his forthcoming LP, The Great Divide and the tour that will support it.
Two of the tunes he played on Monday were off the new wax.
Kahan, who has had great success dueting with others — Post Malone (“Dial Drunk”), Kacey Musgraves (“She Calls Me Back”), Brandi Carlile (“You’re Gonna Go Far”), and Sam Fender (“Homesick”) — was up there all alone at Venue 6.
