Poland Got a Deep Breath of Air at  Open’er Festival

The French duo Air has spent this year performing their ultra-cool Moon Safari LP in its entirety to the delight of fans.

The band’s 1998 debut masterpiece is just as clean and delightful today as it was back when it was being played on everyone’s Winamps and MP3 players.

It was the music we wanted to hear to calm our nerves from the impending doom that Y2K was going to cause.

While the other French electronic duo, Daft Punk was creating dance grooves for the party, Air was formulating the chilled out vibes for the after party in the dark, underground makeout rooms when the drinks had stopped pouring, the drugs were wearing off and but the sun hadn’t come up yet. It’s what you listened to in the cab on your drowsy ride home across town, still smelling her perfume on your jacket.
