Setlist History: No Nukes Concerts Sell Out Madison Square Garden

In the wake of a partial nuclear meltdown of the Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station on the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania in early 1979, a group of musicians said enough was enough in regard to nuclear power plants in the USA.

Jackson Browne, Graham Nash, Bonnie Raitt, and John Hall helped form the activist group The Musicians United for Safe Energy collective (MUSE) to draw attention via a series of high profile concerts to the dangers of the proliferation of nuclear reactors and reconsider alternative forms of energy.
