The legendary Ramones played the final concert of their two decade career at The Palace in Hollywood 30 years ago on August 6, 1996, with the help of a variety of guest stars, and recording equipment to document the bittersweet show.
Joey Ramone (vocals), Johnny Ramone (guitar), Marky Ramone (drums) and C.J. Ramone (bass) tore through a 32-song set that reminded one and all about the punk and alternative legacy they carved out.
For posterity the performance was recorded with documentary elements and interviews and later released as the live album and concert film We’re Outta Here!
The first portion of the show was a rapid fire assault of their most memorable songs from their 20+ year career.
