Echoing the Spirit of ’76, Bruce Springsteen belted out a rallying cry yesterday as he announced his first round of tour dates for he and the E Street Band for 2026.
“Brothers and sisters, fans, friends, and good folk from coast to coast, we are living through dark, disturbing, and dangerous times,” the 76-year old superstar said sitting on the hood of a mid century Chevy Z28 in what appeared to be his garage.
“But do not despair,” he assured, “the cavalry is coming.”
“We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America, American democracy, American freedom,” the Boss proclaimed, “our American Constitution, and our sacred American Dream, all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington DC.
