This is It: Kenny Loggins’ Final Tour Ends November

Tour or event poster for This is It: Kenny Loggins’ Final Tour Ends November

Kenny Loggins is on the last months of his farewell tour, This Is It, after over 50 years in music where he’s sold tens of millions of albums, and created songs that took on lives of their own.

Kenny’s first big success came in Loggins & Messina in the 1970s. The duo sold over 16 million albums.

A favorite is the ungrammatical “Your Momma Don’t Dance.”

Loggins & Messina also wrote the kids song “House at Pooh Corner” which was originally made into a hit by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band who used several of Kenny’s songs.

Many consider Kenny Loggins’ first solo hit his duet with Stevie Nicks.

From Nirvana unplugging to Wu-Tang kicking the door in, this month has delivered an impressive pile of albums and plenty of ways to drown out Thanksgiving arguments. Here’s one for every day.
