Earlier this week we compiled and summarized the Top 10 most popular Grateful Dead setlists on our site, ranked by pageviews. Basically every time in history that someone clicked a setlist, that was a vote.
One thing that was instantly obvious were none of the shows with Jerry made it to the list. How could that be? Some consider that time the only Dead era that matters.
The only explanation could be that Jerry was long gone before this site (or the world wide web as we know it) really got into high gear.
So when people looked for Dead setlists on this site, they were doing it during the Dead & Co era. Thus the big numbers for those shows.
