You may recognize 3Quency’s Brianna Mazzola, Nori Royale and Wennely Quezada from Netflix’s Building the Band, the competition music series where 50 solo singers picked bandmates simply by their voices.
Mazzola, Royale, and Quezada were the inaugural winners and won the half million dollar prize by beautifully covering the likes of SZA, Billie Eilish, Brandy and Mariah Carey.
3Quency derived their name in part by the wave frequency makeup Mazzola wears around her eyes, and from being a trio.
After signing with RECORDS/Columbia, they began releasing original singles starting with “Top Down” in September 2025, followed by “Once I Was A Good Girl” which was co-written by RAYE.
