Shaé Universe is a Nigerian British singer and songwriter from London who made her splash in the late 2010s with a mix of R&B, Afrofusion, and alternative soul.
She built her ever-growing audience through independent releases and collaborations. Her discography includes a string of singles dating back to 2017, and two LPs: Unorthodox (2022) and Love’s Letter (2024).
Last month when Shaé released “D’Angelo’s Joint,” her tribute to R&B legend, Billboard gushed that she “has delivered the ultimate anthem to bridge Black and Women’s History Months.”
In February she also dropped the single “Journey To The Sun” featuring Ariel J., with the beautiful chorus of “even angels need lullabies too.”
