Soulidified is a pop and R&B quartet formed in 2025 on Netflix’s Building the Band, a competition built around vocals rather than image.
Malik Heard, Landon Boyce, Shade Jenifer, and Bradley Rittmann selected solely from what they heard in isolation booths.
Their performances included songs by Usher, Miguel, Tevin Campbell, and SZA. During the finale, the group performed “Bye Bye Bye” under the temporary name ICONYX, and although they didn’t win the competition they remained unified and changed their name to what we have now.
After the show concluded they released the single “One & Only” that August, then the Justin Bieber cover “Mistletoe” just in time for the holidays. Recently they dropped their latest single “What’s Your Name” which brings back the vibe of the early 2000s.
