Wet Leg, the adorable phenoms from the Isle of Wight, dropped by the Tiny Desk back in April (4/3). NPR finally dropped the video this week to coincide with the album release of the band’s new collection, moisturizer.
What we got were four tunes from the band’s sophomore album, including the live debut of “11:21,” which closed out the tiny set.
This was not Wet Leg’s first visit to the show. During the midst of the plague in 2021, they sent in a lovely self tape for the Tiny Desk (Home) Concert, that they shot in a local pub.
If there was pressure to match the unexpected success of their 2022 debut which earned them a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, you wouldn’t be able to tell.
