Wolf Alice live debuted their sensational new single, “Bloom Baby Bloom,” in a warm up gig Monday night (5/19) in Kilkenny, Ireland.
“This is our first show in a really long time,” singer/guitarist Ellie Rowsell told the lucky fans at the Set Theatre in their return to the stage in two years. “And I’m sooo happy we’re doing it in Ireland!”
Roswell (whose father is from Dublin), along with Joff Oddie (guitar), Theo Ellis (bass), and Joel Amey (drums) are bopping around the Emerald Isle, tuning up before a short run of summer festivals which will lead into a 43-date world tour in support of their forthcoming album, The Clearing.
The Brits got to it live debuting their lead single “Bloom Baby Bloom” right out of the shoot. This is something I have declared, is the correct spot for the newest of the new.
