2hollis has released “SEX,” a new Interscope single that pushes his shape-shifting mix of underground rap, industrial electronics and pop into another high-impact phase.

The track arrives as the Los Angeles artist, producer and songwriter appears as i-D Magazine’s latest cover star. That pairing underlines how closely his music has become tied to fashion, online culture and the visual language of a rising generation.

“SEX” follows the summer single “Hurt” and continues the momentum of star, his acclaimed major-label debut. The record reached No. 11 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums chart and helped turn a fast-growing online following into sold-out rooms.

Before that breakthrough, projects including White Tiger, 2 and boy established 2hollis as a restless experimenter. His songs balance vulnerable writing with club pressure, gothic textures and a pop instinct built for large spaces.

That expansion has carried onto the stage through sold-out North American and European runs and appearances at Coachella and Lollapalooza. The press release describes the shows as part rave, part mosh pit and part pop spectacle.

U2 The Unforgettable Fire album coverOctober 1 — U2, The Unforgettable Fire (1984, Island Records). U2 loosened its grip on straightforward arena rock and let Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois lead the band toward something hazier and more adventurous. “Pride (In the Name of Love)” became the anthem, but the album’s atmosphere is what makes it special.
