Straight outta St. Louis, the pop punk group Story of the Year are the epitome of dedication, grinding it out for eight years before tasting the rich rewards of success.
In 2003 their major label debut, Page Avenue came out on Maverick Records and singles “Until the Day I Die” and “Anthem of Our Dying Day” helped propel the LP to #51 on the charts and ended up moving more than a million units.
Soon they were on the Warped Tour followed by other big named festivals. Along the way they rocked alongside the likes of Limp Bizkit, The Used, and Papa Roach.
Earlier this year they dropped their seventh studio album, A.R.S.O.N. which frontman Dan Marsala said “has some of the heaviest songs we’ve ever written, but also some of the biggest choruses of our career. We’ve never been afraid to take chances with our writing, and this record is no different.”
