Their milkshake seems to have worked as Katseye kicked off their first headlining run, The Beautiful Chaos Tour, at the Minneapolis Armory on Saturday (11/15), performing in front of a packed crowd.
Sophia Laforteza (Manila, Philippines), Megan Skiendiel (Honolulu), Daniela Avanzini (Atlanta, GA), Lara Raj (Los Angeles), Manon Bannerman (Zürich, Switzerland) and Yoonchae Jeong (Seoul, South Korea) rocked a 20-song set that included seven live debuts and two covers in a room that’s just a short walk from First Avenue.
Of the seven live debuts, one came from last year’s EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) , and two were unreleased originals, including “Internet Girl.” And three others, “Girls Don’t Like,” “Dirty Water” and “All the Same,” which was the gooey center of the set came from their competition era.
The final live debut, “Monster High Fright Song,” was a newly added cover from the 2010 the cartoon series.
