Addison Rae who became popular after posting dance videos on TikTok in 2019 attracting a following of 88 million, kicked off her world tour Monday (8/25) in Dublin, Ireland.
The 24-year-old Louisiana native, who briefly attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge before defecting to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams on social media, treated the Irish to a deep dive into her debut album with songs like “Diet Pepsi,” “Headphones On” and “Aquamarine.”
Before you judge the name of her tour for being basic, The Addison Tour is a nod to the fact she prefers to be addressed by just her first name going forward. Blame the autograph seekers.
“I just am tired of signing ‘Addison Rae.’ It’s really long,” she complained on the Feeding Starving Celebrities YouTube series.
