Doja Cat had a lot to overcome as she headlined Outside Lands Friday (8/8) at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
First she had to follow Doechii, which couldn’t be easy since the Swamp Queen is the reigning Grammy winner for Best Rap Album, and has some things to prove on her own.
But she also needed to do something about the controversial beef she had with “Musty Boy” that had not made her look fantastic.
On top of it all, this was her first proper concert since way back in the spring at Wango Tango in Huntington Beach where she went on after KATSEYE and Gwen Stefani at a fest headlined by David Guetta.
