The Twitter account @RiotFest claims to be a parody account but it sure feels official.

The first clue is it’s linked from the Riot Fest website. Secondly, it has all the correct dates, posters, and links before everyone else.

But mostly, as outrageous and snotty and aggressive as it can be at times, it’s a perfect mirror to the attitude of many of the bands that grace the festival’s stages.

Riot Fest began in Chicago more than 20 years ago as a scrappy indoor punk festival built by founder Michael “Riot Mike” Petryshyn and a small group of friends, family and fellow music obsessives.

Carly Rae Jepsen Live Debuts 8 Songs At Impromptu NYC Show

After Mother Nature tossed a wet blanket on the All Things Go Festival, forcing organizers to cancel it all, Carly Rae Jepsen called an audible and found shelter at Irving Plaza on Sunday (9/27) in Manhattan.

The last minute pop-up was a win win for all the Canadian singer's fans who were able to change their plans because not only was the price right at just $15, but CRJ doled out seven live debuts.
