Bleachers’ headlining set at Newport Folk Festival on Friday (7/25) turned into an all star party showing off Jack Antonoff’s band in true collaborative form.
The pop rock began innocently enough with a trio of Bleachers originals from their first three albums, and then the parade of guests began to appear.
The 10,000 in attendance on the opening night of the three-day fest had no idea how good they were about to get it.
The first guest was Natalie Laura Mering, better known as Weyes Blood, who nailed the Ozzie Nelson classic, “Dream A Little Dream Of Me.”
