Taylor Swift re-recorded her 2010 smash Speak Now last week and renamed it Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) – as she did with a few of her older albums. Swift is re-recording her first six albums so she can control her early songs which had been sold off in a way she didn’t appreciate.
Revenge? More like a win-win situation for the singer-songwriter and her loyal and ever-growing fans, because these new packages include demo versions, extended cuts, and unreleased tracks she calls “From The Vault.”
The most compelling addition to Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) is the tune “Castles Crumbling,” where a 19-year-old Swift fears she’s no longer worthwhile.

What makes the song soar, though, is when Paramore’s singer Hayley Williams chimes in with beautifully delivered verses on the duet.
