Brazil is going to get a triple dose of punk rock next September in São Paulo when Green Day, the new incarnation of the Sex Pistols, and the topless Iggy Pop will be headlining the second The Town festival.
Green Day, the East Bay ’90s pop punk trio take the Skyline Stage on September 7, 2025. They return to the enormous South American country after entertaining the masses at 2022’s Rock in Rio.
Setting the tone before Green Day will be Sex Pistols with 40-year-old hardcore singer Frank Carter on the mic.
Behind him will be the band’s original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock.
