Offset Wants You To Call Him?

Offset

Offset apparently wants to become your favorite rapper, life coach and late-night call-in host all at once. The Migos rapper opened NEED FM on 9/15, inviting fans to dial 470-742-6949, unload whatever mess they have going on and wait for Offset to call back with whatever advice he thinks the situation deserves.

The concept is wonderfully strange: relationship trouble, money problems, existential dread — apparently all roads now lead to Offset. “Call a player and tell me what ya need. Some of y’all need closure, some of y’all need some answers and some of y’all just need somebody to tell y’all what really going on,” Set said. “You got some s–t on your mind, call me.”

There is, naturally, one house rule for this extremely unofficial advice line. “Just don’t call up here with all that cap, man!”

The hotline also happens to arrive exactly when Offset has something to sell. His new single, “Something I Need,” arrives 9/18, and he has been teasing it with cover art of himself in the water with a woman and a yacht-heavy promo clip. “SHE AIN’T MINE… JUST SOMETHING I NEED,” he wrote on IG.

His last solo album, KIARI, arrived in September 2025 and debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200. Now, while this new solo run gets moving, there is also unfinished Migos business hanging over everything.

Quavo said earlier this month that he and Offset plan to reunite for one final Migos album and tour, with posthumous vocals from Takeoff expected to be part of the project. “We coming back. We’re going to do it one more time,” Quavo said. “Long live the Rocket … There’s more. We going to tour. We going to do it right.”

A Banger Was Released Every Day In October

U2 The Unforgettable Fire album cover

What was it about October that throughout rock history such great music was dropped in this magical month? From the Boss to the Pistols, from Taylor to Dire Straits, October has delivered way more treats than tricks.

U2 The Unforgettable Fire album coverOctober 1 — U2, The Unforgettable Fire (1984, Island Records). U2 loosened its grip on straightforward arena rock and let Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois lead the band toward something hazier and more adventurous. “Pride (In the Name of Love)” became the anthem, but the album’s atmosphere is what makes it special.

The last minute pop-up was a win win for all the Canadian singer's fans who were able to change their plans because not only was the price right at just $15, but CRJ doled out seven live debuts.
