Billy Idol has released a R3HAB remix of his 1990 hit “Cradle of Love” through UMe. The new version updates the production while preserving the song’s original rock swagger.
A companion visualizer echoes the provocative MTV-era imagery of the classic video. R3HAB describes the project as a chance to bridge one of Idol’s signature tracks to a new audience without erasing what made it recognizable.
The remix arrives during Idol’s It’s a Nice Day To…Tour Again! run and ahead of his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame alongside longtime guitarist Steve Stevens.

Idol and Stevens have worked together for more than four decades, connecting punk energy to arena rock and pop on “White Wedding,” “Rebel Yell,” “Eyes Without a Face” and “Cradle of Love.” Both enter the Hall with the Class of 2026.
The documentary Billy Idol Should Be Dead is streaming on Hulu, while his 2025 album Dream Into It marked his first full-length set of new music in more than ten years.
